History
Said to have begun as an inn for seafarers, the building is wrapped in tales of sailors pressed into service and tunnels running toward the river. The oldest section, the Herb House, is among the oldest structures in Georgia. Staff describe cold rooms, slamming doors and the sense of unseen company in the cellar.
