Savannah's oldest intact municipal cemetery, resting place of thousands including yellow fever victims.
In use through the early 1800s, Colonial Park holds the graves of duelists, Revolutionary figures and victims of repeated epidemics. Headstones were rearranged in later years, and many burials lie unmarked. Visitors describe apparitions among the brick walls and along the central walk after dark.
Apparitions near the dueling ground, sudden temperature drops, and figures seen at the gates after closing.
